Response Card Dietary

Sao Paulo

was supposed to be fast and to date but it was not:) There was little time and places to see so many came out as came out. We're already two weeks back at home and I have to admit that for now we are impressed by the "New Continent". We had plenty of impressions and memories we have so much we can "bore" everyone. So ... we present to you the first part of the journey to South America - Sao Paulo!

Welcome to the extremely crowded place where you live some 17 million people (wiki provides otherwise, P), for whom football is god. (For the whole of South America)

place where skyscrapers, blocks, flats, houses ... one word "concrete" stretches for many miles of wherever you looked ...

place which can be called a "great cultural cauldron, where the descendants of immigrants from Europe, Asia, Africa, North America form a very specific socio-cultural blend. Here, as if time has stopped decades ago.

We met here a few well-wishers of the Brazilians, and also a little less sympathetic. Thanks to the guidance of Andre, we had a chance to see just what I watch. View of Sao Paulo with 36 floors of the building Banespa (bank building) in the city center. Places of completely free and the view ... they look.

best way to get around the city during the day is a Metro (cost - $ 2.65 R is some € 1) and / or city bus. At night, however, a taxi is the only safe option.

PLACES advantage of it, and it is not a typical tourist town, and so, in truth, malu here for great tourist attractions.

Right under the bank there is a very popular restaurant, "Javer's Garden" in it ...
what is most important: food! and what! I became an absolute fan of South American food! Milanese rulez!
pictured above in the upper right corner you can see a tiny drineczek: CARPIRINIA! Brazilian sugar cane rum with lime and ice!

beers so given that I never drank, like the most expensive champagne! :)

and so it looks like in the middle

Catedra de Se - very similar to some European church, but I can not remember what (Notre Dame?)

incorporates suggestions for how the local people, mielsmy chance to experience a non-commercial carnival parade in the streets. Alcohol poured down from the truck (which it was, that to this day do not know but it was awfully strong, p), people danced in hot, hypnotic rhythms of the samba.

the first hour to warm up the crowd would later move to the streets.

changing some point. Here, the view from outside the city

Here we were aiming toward the Mercado Municipal - unless the man walked on the same page.

Somehow so colorful here in August zorbilo

district fair where you can buy absolutely everything

Mercado Municipal - a place that need to be but it really need to visit and experience the atmosphere.

Food, food, food ...

absolutely everything

to add beautifully and colorfully

And it is glorious "Mortadela Sandwich" !! if such sandwiches have been doing with us at the deli:)

Next ruszlimsy toward the Japanese district

and came across the market again, this time a Japanese Brazilian culture

ate shrimp in pastry and cheese balls

Yes Strolling through this neighborhood, we heard strange screams and sounds of battle. Zajzelismy to the center and what it turned out ...

have found school samurai! Kendo is it probably zwalo

We were invited by the master to the center and podziwalismy as guys with wooden swords infuses August

One morning we woke up and it turned out, and Santos was welcomed to our hotel:)

And just look like Our hotelik. Bourbon Ibirapuera - quite pleasant, a bit away from the subway station and the center but in a good and safe area.

and near the airport:)

The last day we rested a little in Ibirapuera Park - one of the largest urban parks in the world.

Here we prepared August mentally for 15-hour bus ride to Puerto Iguazu.
